In Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, the Sadar police station has registered a case against a Delhi resident under various sections, including cheating, for cheating a book seller of Rs 6 lakh 64 thousand 992. The police is investigating the matter

Gaurav Bansal, a resident of Shimla, told in the complaint given to the police that he runs a shop in the name of Ramesh Book House in Lower Bazar. On June 18, he placed an order for 7240 kg of printing paper on Delhi-based Balaji Papers. He had put an amount of Rs 6 lakh 64 thousand 992 in the account of a person named Vijay.

After which neither the paper order came nor Vijay could be contacted. Vijay’s phone is also getting switched off. Sadar police station has registered a case against Vijay on the complaint of Gaurav. The police is investigating the matter
