Incidents happening on platform number one, pockets of half a dozen passengers were bitten on Saturday night, came to know when they woke up in the morning.

The pockets of the passengers staying at night time at Palwal railway station are getting cut day by day. The RPF and GRP, who claim to patrol the platform during the night, are sleeping. A living example of this was visible on Sunday. The pockets of half a dozen passengers sleeping on the platform were cut and the security personnel did not even know about it. The passengers informed the GRP when it was morning. But there was no trace of the pickpockets.

According to the information, Harendra Singh, resident of Fatehpur Sikri, Agra, Etah resident Keshav, Bharatpur resident Vedveer, Harendra Kumar, etc. came to Palwal on Saturday night by a shuttle coming from Delhi and Faridabad at around 1.30 pm. He got into the shuttle train parked on platform number one A. When I woke up in the morning, I saw that all their pockets were cut. Five thousand rupees were deducted from the pocket of the truck driver Harendra Singh, nine thousand from Keshav’s pocket, 500 from Vedveer and about one and a half thousand rupees from Harendra. Apart from this, their mobiles were also found missing. Victims say that half a dozen mischievous elements had boarded the train from Ballabgarh and Newtown stations during the night. It is suspected that they were all pickpockets. Incidents like this are happening every day at railway stations. Surprisingly, the RPF claims to patrol the platform but no security personnel are visible during the night. Both the agencies have failed to nab the miscreants who carried out the crimes. GRP station in-charge Suratpal says that strictness will be taken on the platform. The criminals will be punished.
