A four-storey building collapsed in Naik Nagar, Kurla East, Mumbai late on Monday night. According to the BMC, seven people have been rescued from under the debris whose condition is stable, while 20 to 25 people are likely to be buried under the debris as the rescue operation is on.

Maharashtra minister Aaditya Thackeray reached the spot of building accident in Mumbai. He said 5-7 people were rescued. Notices were issued to all 4 buildings, but people live there. Our priority is to save everyone. In the morning we will see the work of evacuating and demolishing these buildings so that the people around do not suffer
