Duti: Due to Kovid, she could not prepare for the 2021 Olympics. Corona will not have that much effect in 2022. So the preparations for the Commonwealth Games are going well. Most of all I am focusing on 4*100m relay because there is a chance of medal in relay. On the other hand, when it comes to 100m and 200m, the challenge will be tough, because the Jamaican athletes who come have a personal best of 10.8 or 10.9 seconds. In such a situation, winning a medal in front of them will be a difficult challenge. Yes, but we have a medal chance in the relay. Our four members in the relay – Me, Hima Das, Shrabani Nanda and Dhanlakshm, their preparations are going well. We have been doing well in practice and the baton exchange is also going very well. The medal is expected, so I focused more and more on the relay.

Duti: There will be a lot of challenge from European countries and Jamaica-Australia.
Duti: There are seven or eight athletes going to the race. In such a situation, the athletes who have gone with a personal best, have a chance of winning a medal.
Duti: I have just come together. I have good relations with family. Everyone has blessed me that you will do well. From here we will go to Trivandrum. There will also be training.
Duti: The new athletes who are there are motivated by watching us. I keep telling them where the mistake is happening or has happened. Teach them how to run. Everyone has to run in a sprint, but not everyone knows about how to run. More experience is needed. I am happy that I have been associated with all the new athletes for five years. I hope he does well too.

Duti: We have to work hard to make ourselves strong. You have to work hard every day. It is my good fortune that whatever institution I am associated with, be it KIT University or Odisha Government, they have always supported me. I have sponsored. So I was able to continue with the training. The training has continued, so my performance is getting better. Yes, sometimes there is a downside, but I come back and always try to do better.
Duti: I try to reduce my time every year. Be it Rio Olympics or Tokyo Olympics, Asian Games or Commonwealth Games, I always try to improve my timing. I started the record with 11.31 seconds and made it 11.17 last year. This time I have set a target of 11.15 to 11.20. If I get a chance somewhere, I will show this timing. Winning or not winning a medal is a different matter, but there is always an effort to improve oneself. I will definitely fulfill the target that I have set regarding timing.

Duti: Relay training is going on for the whole year. I had never trained an individual in the Commonwealth Games as they have very little chance of a medal. That’s why everyone said that there is less chance of medal in individual in Commonwealth Games, so don’t prepare for it. We will prepare for the Asian Games and win a sure medal in it. But the Asian Games got postponed due to Kovid. So in the last few days we have focused only on relays and we have been preparing very well in this.
Duti: Whenever I go to participate in any tournament, I take the flag of the country with me. Apart from this, I take a picture of the God whom I believe in.
