Raid on Dairy and Paneer stores in Ballabhgarh grain market, 40 kg polythene recovered, 25 thousand fine imposed.
Rapid action has started in the city regarding single use plastic. On Friday, CM Flying and Municipal Corporation together cut more than 55 challans at different places. More than 40 kg of polythene was recovered after raiding a dairy and paneer store shop in Ballabhgarh. A fine of Rs 25,000 has been imposed on the shopkeeper.
Rajesh Chechi, DSP of CM Flying said that on Friday, information was received that a stock of polythene was kept in a shop in Ballabhgarh grain market. On this information, a raid was conducted at the shop along with Ajit Singh, Assistant Sanitation Inspector of Municipal Corporation and local police. During the raid, Kanha Dairy and Paneer Bhandar has been opened in Ballabhgarh vegetable market shop number 15B. The shop was searched in the presence of its owner Sanjay Agarwal. During the search, about 40 kg of polythene kept in the shop was recovered. The employee of the Municipal Corporation has imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on them. The fine amount was paid by the shopkeeper on the spot. On the other hand, cleaning inspector BS Teotia said that his team recovered about 44 kg of plastic polythene during the investigation at different places. A total of 55 people have been challaned. A fine of Rs 63 thousand has been imposed on them.
