Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Sourav Ganguly turned 50 on Thursday (July 8). He celebrated his 50th birthday in London. A day before Ganguly, former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni also celebrated his 41st birthday in London. Ganguly has celebrated his birthday in a different way. A video of him dancing on the streets of London has gone viral on social media.
Ganguly danced on the roadside with daughter Sana and wife Donna. This style of Ganguly, famous for putting pressure on the opposition teams on the cricket field, has been seen for the first time. Apart from daughter-wife, he danced on the song ‘Tu Mera Hero…’ from Akshar Kumar and John Abraham’s film ‘Desi Boyz’ with close friends.

Earlier, Ganguly had also hosted a pre-birthday party. Ganguly had cut the cake at the pre-birthday party on Wednesday. During this, BCCI secretary Jay Shah, former IPL chairman Rajeev Shukla, great cricketer Sachin Tendulkar were seen. There is a very good friendship between Ganguly and Sachin and she is visible here as well. His wife Dona Ganguly and Sachin’s wife Anjali Tendulkar are seen in a picture. Sourav and Donna were married on 21 February 1997. At the same time, Sachin married Anjali on 25 May 1995.
Both Ganguly and Tendulkar have fond memories of playing cricket in England. Both scored a lot of runs in both Tests and ODIs on England soil and were part of the team that won India’s last Test series in England in 2007 under the captaincy of current coach Rahul Dravid.
