Better Half Metromonium targets working girls by creating profiles on the site.
Police have arrested two Nigerians after busting a gang who cheated girls on the pretext of marrying girls on the pretext of settling abroad. Both the arrested accused live on rent in Delhi’s Uttamnagar and Ashram. During interrogation, the accused have revealed that they lure working women into their trap by creating fake profiles on the Better Half Metromonium site. Then on the pretext of coming to India and customs clearance at the airport, the girl gets money in her account for help. The accused are being questioned by the police. Two mobiles, five ATMs and Rs 26,000 cash have been recovered from the possession of the accused. The accused have been identified as Nawabu Udemba and Kofi Enge.
The girl of Ballabhgarh was made a victim
DCP Headquarters Nitish Aggarwal told that the arrested accused had made a girl from Ballabhgarh as Rakesh as his victim and told himself to settle in America. Coming to Mumbai airport, in the name of customs clearance, he had cheated Rs 1.65 lakh in his account on one pretext or the other. The alleged Rakesh had made himself a profile by becoming a surgeon doctor in the US.

These swindlers lure working girls into their trap by pretending to settle on a good post abroad. After this, talking about coming to Mumbai airport, on the pretext of bringing expensive gifts with them and not having customs clearance due to foreign currency, they ask for help. Then in the voice of the girl, pretending to be a customs officer, transfer money to different accounts for customs clearance for the person concerned to go out of the airport. The accused have so far made more than a dozen girls their victims. Police is investigating them all.
