A unique protest is being held against the Gehlot government in Deeg tehsil of Bharatpur, Rajasthan. Here the people of Hindu society are sitting on the earth samadhi in 51 pits. They allege that the Gehlot government of the state is giving special benefits to the Muslim society. They say that the agitation will continue till our demands are not met. If the government does not pay heed to the demands soon, then the railway tracks will also be jammed. Villagers’ agitation is going on for the last 16 days near Bharatpur-Alwar highway in Deeg tehsil. Earlier, he had also blocked the highway. Since Wednesday, 51 villagers have taken Bhu Samadhi.

Know what is the matter?

The state government is delimiting the 9 gram panchayats of Deeg Panchayat Samiti and connecting them with Sikri and Nagar Panchayat Samiti, but the villagers are protesting against it for 16 days. Now the villagers have started Bhu Samadhi. For this, the villagers have dug 51 pits, in which different people sit day and night. The villagers started the movement on June 29 by blocking the Alwar-Bharatpur road.

State spokesperson of BJP Kisan Morcha, Nam Singh, who is leading the movement, said that the Rajasthan government is doing the work of connecting 9 gram panchayats of Deeg Panchayat Samiti into Sikri and Nagar Panchayat Samiti. The purpose of which is to benefit the people of a particular community. If the delimitation takes place, the police station and government offices will be out of reach of these villagers, because Sikri will be far away for the villagers.

won’t let that happen

The agitators say that the delimitation will not be allowed under any circumstances. No matter how big a movement has to be for this. He said that right now we are agitating in Gandhian way. If the government does not pay attention to this, then we will be forced to launch a violent movement. He says that 3 Panchayats have been added to Nagar Panchayat Samiti, the remaining 6 Panchayats have been added to Sikri which is wrong.
