Angry over private tuition teacher’s grandfather and grandmother stopping them from playing PUBG, the youth killed their six-year-old student and hid the body in the toilet of the house. The youth, who carried out the murder to send the grandparents to jail, also tried to make the incident look like kidnapping.
He asked for a ransom of five lakh rupees by throwing a letter in a field in the village. In the letter, he wrote about releasing the student after getting the money. On information, the police swung into action, recovered the body in about 12 hours and exposed the incident. A case of murder has been registered against the youth. Police have also detained two other people.
Sanskar, son of Gorakh Yadav, a resident of Harkhauli of Lar police station area, used to go to the house of private tuition teacher Narsingh Sharma (60) in the village itself. According to family members, he had left home for tuitions around 1 pm on Wednesday. When his father reached the tuition teacher’s house late, he came to know that he had not come to the tuition. On this the family started looking for him in the village. During this, a letter was found in a field, in which a ransom of five lakh rupees was demanded. After this the family informed the police about the incident.
SP Sankalp Sharma reached the spot in the night itself. The police started looking for the student. On suspicion, when the police interrogated the tuition teacher’s grandson Arun Sharma (18), the truth came to the fore. He confessed to the murder by strangulation. Told that he had hidden the body of Sanskar in the toilet. Police have recovered Sanskar’s body.
During interrogation, Arun told the police that his grandparents used to always scold him for playing PUBG and asking for money. Enraged by this, he planned to kill Sanskar with the aim of sending both of them to jail.
