According to the report of the tourism department, so far the figure of registration of pilgrims for Chardham Yatra has reached 35.5 lakhs. In this, more than 26 lakh devotees have visited Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, Yamunotri Dham.
There was also a challenge before the government due to the arrival of a large number of pilgrims in the Chardham Yatra. The government made a lot of efforts to make the yatra go without any hindrance. The capacity of pilgrims in a day in Kedarnath Dham is about 15 thousand. Initially up to 25 thousand passengers reached. Chardham Yatra is making a new record this time.
