Akasa Air has got an airline license from DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation), the regulatory body of civil aviation services. It has been told by the airline that it has got AOC (Air Operator Certificate) from DGCA. Now company airlines can start soon.

After getting the license from DGCA, it is believed that Akasa Air can start its first commercial flight service by the last week of July. It is expected that from July 15, ticket booking will start in Akasa Air. In a conversation with the media a few days ago, Vinay Dubey, the CEO of the airline company, had also indicated this.
