In Madhya Pradesh, on Wednesday, amidst heat, humidity and then rain, lightning fell in many places as a disaster. Eight people died due to lightning at different places in the state. Four people were seriously injured there.
According to media reports, the maximum death occurred in Sheopur. Six friends were having a picnic in the forest near Ajnoi village of Karahal block in Sheopur. During this, six friends died due to lightning. Two women died due to lightning in Sukand village of Gormi police station in Bhind. In Chhatarpur also three including mother and son died.
Along with this, Aklavati (35) wife Ramswaroop Lodhi died due to lightning in Bagarbara village of Shivpuri. While Malti (32) wife Virendra Lodhi got burnt. Natharam Baghel in Ghamdipura of Tighara in Gwalior and Betal Singh Gurjar (32) son Harnam Singh Gurjar, resident of village Bagwai of Bhitarwar area of the district also died due to lightning.
Three deaths due to lightning in Chhatarpur
In Chhatarpur district also, lightning took three lives. Rampyari Ahirwar (50), his 25-year-old son Mukesh Ahirwar was working on his farm located in Gadhiya pond in village Maharajganj of Badamalhara police station area. Lightning struck the mother and son. Both of them died on the spot.
