The situation arising out of the functioning of the Services Department was discussed during the Vidhan Sabha session. The ruling party alleged in the House that removing the Services Department (Services) from the purview of the elected government of Delhi is an unconstitutional step. Taking part in the discussion, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said in the House that by taking away the services from the Delhi Government in an unconstitutional manner, the Central Government is transferring officers. The BJP-ruled central government is transferring officers of Delhi government departments like playing cards and musical chairs. Higher education is being affected the most by this.
Manish Sisodia said in the House that the admission time is going on in the university, but no one has been appointed to the post of Director of Higher Education since 22 days after the transfer of the previous Director. The central government is playing with the future of the youth. The central government has taken away the power of transfer-posting by unconstitutionally taking away the services from the elected government of Delhi. Transferring Delhi officials is like shuffling cards.
According to Manish Sisodia, it has become a matter of discussion with the Director of Higher Education in the evening on some brilliant idea and make a plan and the next day it is learned that he has been transferred. The central government has no understanding of education.
