Miscreants Entered House Posing As Officers Of Anti Corruption Branch In Shahdara Area Of Delhi, Four Accused Arrested What happened?



On the lines of Bollywood movie Special-26 on Sunday evening, just behind Shahdara police station in Delhi, miscreants put a fake raid at the money exchanger. 15-16 people came in two cars, including four women. These people intimidated the family by pretending that they were officers of Anti Corruption Branch. Everyone was asking the family about the amount of hawala. During the incident, the accused took the family hostage in a room and searched the entire house. During the incident, the accused also misbehaved with a woman of the family. Later, cash and other valuables were stuffed in plastic bags.

When the family suspected something about the accused, they raised an alarm. A neighbor informed the police. As soon as the police reached the spot, the accused started running away. Out of which four accused including a woman were nabbed by the police on the spot. The four arrested accused are residents of different places in Punjab. The police also recovered a fake ID of Anti Corruption Foundation of India and a Bolero car from them. Police is interrogating the arrested accused and searching for the rest of the accused.

According to the police, the victim Mona Gupta lives with the family in her two-storey house in K-Block, Naveen Shahdara area. Apart from her husband Kamal Kishore Gupta, there are other members in her family. Kamal Gupta has money exchange business in Chandni Chowk area. He was present at home due to Sunday evening being a holiday. Apart from Kamal and Mona, Kamal’s mother Shakuntala and children were present at home.

At around 6.00 pm, suddenly his doorbell rang. Apart from this, there was a loud knock on the door. As soon as Mona opened the door suddenly 15-16 people forcibly entered her house. Among them were four women. The accused told that they are from Anti Corruption Branch. They have got information that a huge amount of hawala is kept in the house. When the family refused, the accused threatened to kill them. After this the accused took the mobiles of all the family members in their possession and after locking everyone in a room, the accused started searching the house.

The family got suspicious of the accused like this

When Mona stopped the accused from doing so and asked them for their IDs, they started getting agitated. On the request of the family, some of his companions started talking about taking the matter away. Mona got suspicious of him. During this, the accused started filling the goods of the house in bags. Courageously, Mona made a noise. A neighbor on hearing ruckus and shouting informed the police. When the police reached the spot, a stampede broke out. The accused fled with all the mobile phones and a bag of the family. The bag contained Rs 15,000 and some gold jewellery. Police arrested four accused from the spot. They have been identified as Gurjant Singh (31), resident of village Kumra, Amloh, Fatehgarh, Punjab, Navjot Singh (30), resident of Sector-27C, Chandigarh, Satpal Singh (28) resident of Mandi Gobindgarh, Fatehgarh and Gurpreet (30), resident of Ward No-4, Ludhiana. ) has occurred. Shahdara police station is investigating the matter after interrogating the arrested accused.

Cases already registered against the accused

After interrogating the accused, the police have come to know that three cases of drug trafficking are registered against the accused Gurjant. Navjot has one case of cheating registered against him while Satpal has two cases of drug trafficking and one case of assault on Punjab Police. During the investigation, the accused have revealed that these people have carried out many incidents of fake raids. Police is trying to trace the remaining accused after interrogating the arrested accused.
