In order to record her statement in the counter-complaint, the actress had obtained an in-camera order on a specific date in April.

What did Akhtar allege?

Akhtar (76), in his complaint, had accused Ranaut of making defamatory statements against him in a television interview. He said that his reputation has been hurt by this. The lyricist had claimed that after actor Sushant Singh Rajput allegedly committed suicide in June 2020, Ranaut had dragged his name during a TV interview while referring to him being a ‘troupe’ in Bollywood.

At the same time, the actress said in her complaint against Akhtar that following her public altercation with a co-star, the lyricist invited her and her sister Rangoli Chandel to his home “with malicious and malafide intentions and then criminally threatened and threatened them”. scared.’
