The hearing on the suit filed by five women, including Rakhi Singh, will start from today after the summer vacation in the court of District Judge Dr. Ajay Krishna Vishwesh, to preserve the regular darshan of Shringar Gauri and other deities at Gyanvapi, Varanasi. In the Gyanvapi case, arguments will be given on Monday on behalf of the Muslim side Anjuman Inazaniya Masajid Committee. Even before this, the advocates of the Masajid Committee had argued that the Special Places of Worship Bill 1991 would be applicable here, in which the status of religious places at the time of independence would remain the same. Whereas the Hindu side argues that the Kannu, a special religious place of worship here, will not apply, because even after independence, Shringar Gauri was worshipped here.
Advocate Abhay Nath Yadav, appearing for Anjuman Inazantiya, has presented his arguments on 39 of the 52 points shown in the objection, questioning the maintainability of the suit. His arguments are still on and he will take forward his arguments in the hearing on Monday.
In the midst of the ongoing hearing in this case, about 10 people including former Mahant of Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Vice Chancellor Tiwari, litigant friend of Kashi Vishwanath temple, Vijay Shankar Rastogi, have requested to be made parties under Order 1 Rule 10.
On the order of the Supreme Court, the District Judge will first hear on the maintainability of the suit filed by the five women litigants on priority basis and then dispose of the other applications. In the same court, the application of litigant Rakhi Singh’s advocate Jitendra Singh Visen is also to be heard if the videography of the Gyanvapi survey was leaked despite the court’s stay.
Civil Judge Fast Track Court First is also to be heard in the court on behalf of Jitendra Singh’s wife Kiran Singh. In this, during the survey, permission has been sought for worship of Shivling and Dev Deities found near the Vaju site.
The Kashi Dharma Parishad has sought permission to offer water to the Shivling found in the Gyanvapi complex in Sawan. Along with this, it has been said that the principle of purity should be implemented in Kashi Vishwanath complex in Sawan. The current situation of the country was discussed in the meeting of the Dharma Parishad held at Subhash Bhawan, Lamhi on Sunday.
Mahant Balak Das, presiding over the meeting, said that cases should be registered against those who hurt religious sentiments and disturb public order. For this, the Dharma Parishad will also write a letter to all the Chief Ministers. Said that the incidents of Udaipur and Amravati are unfortunate. Due to this there is resentment in the Sant Samaj. Those who abet the murder should also be given the harshest punishment. Eight resolutions were passed during this period.
