Amidst the Amarnath Yatra, a terrorist incident has come to the fore in Bijbihara of Anantnag district of South Kashmir. The terrorists opened fire targeting the police party on Sunday. A policeman was seriously injured in this.
The police officer said that the terrorists opened fire on the constable in Bijbehara. He has been taken to the nearest hospital for treatment. Primarily the jawan was shot in the leg. Doctors have declared his condition stable.
The officer has identified the policeman as Firdous Ahmed. Told that the entire area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
