How did the person enter the Z-category security zone?
Sources also said that police officials are probing how the man entered the Z-category security zone. Investigators are also trying to find out the possible reasons behind the violation. However, preliminary investigation reveals that the perpetrator is either a thief or a person of perverted mental state. However, the police did not rule out other angles as well.
There was a double murder near the Chief Minister’s residence last month.
Last month, a double murder took place just a short distance from the chief minister’s residence, raising questions about security in the area. Businessman Ashok Shah was stabbed to death, while his wife Rashmita Shah was shot. It was later found that several CCTV cameras installed near the Chief Minister’s residence were faulty.
Describing Bhawanipur as a “peaceful” area, Mamata Banerjee had then alleged that some outside forces were trying to create disturbance in the area. He had assured that strict steps would be taken to deal with the crisis.
