Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav has dissolved all the executive committees except state president Naresh Uttam Patel. He has dissolved the national executive and state executive as well as the national and state executives of all frontal organizations including Lohia Vahini, Chhatra Sabha, Youth Brigade.

It is believed that after the meeting of the party working council, a fresh executive committee will be formed. The party’s national convention will be held in the last week of August or in September. It is to be known that the possibility of dissolution of the executive was being expressed since the declaration of the results of the assembly elections.

Meanwhile, two rounds of review meetings were held with the party MLAs and the candidates who lost the election. After the review meeting, now the national president Akhilesh Yadav has announced the dissolution of all the state and national executives.

The post of state president Naresh Uttam has been retained for now. Party sources say that there may be a change in the post of state president, but till the search for a new state president is not completed, Naresh Uttam Patel will continue to work.
