After the onset of monsoon season, people are suffering from the sultry heat in the capital. It was sunny all day on Saturday and people were suffering from it. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is no sign of relief even in the next 24 hours. Light rain may be recorded at only a few places. The mercury will rise for the next two days, then it is likely to decrease.
According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature on Saturday was 34.4 degrees below normal and the minimum temperature was 26.2 degrees Celsius, two below normal. It was sunny throughout the day and people were troubled by the humidity. In the second half of the day, clouds camped in the sky for a while, but went away without rain. In such a situation, the people of the capital kept waiting for the rain till the evening. The humidity level in the air was 64 to 92 percent.
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for the next 24 hours and has predicted light rain. The maximum temperature can be recorded up to 35 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature is 26 degree Celsius. According to the department, the mercury is likely to rise in the next two days. On July 6, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Delhi, due to which the heat wave may loosen.
According to meteorologists, the monsoon has knocked in Delhi, but due to not favorable weather conditions, there is a sultry summer. However, normal rainfall is forecast for the entire country this year. In such a situation, there will be normal rain in all the states of northern India.
