North-East District Deputy Commissioner of Police Sanjay Kumar Sain said that on Friday evening, the team of New Usmanpur police station was on patrol in Garhi-Mendu village. During this, the team smelled of alcohol from a house. Upon reaching there, the police knocked on the door. The smell intensified as soon as the door of the house was opened. When the police searched the house, the team was blown away. Inside the house, liquor was being made in big drums. There was a huge amount of chemicals kept there. A machine to pack the liquor and empty bottles of Haryana sale liquor were kept.

The police arrested the accused Shyam. During interrogation, Shyam has given the names of some more people. Police teams are searching for them. Who is the landlord and on whose behest the factory was running. Efforts are being made to find out the same.
