Sandesh Kumar is a constable of the year 2018 batch. He told that he knew how to swim, so he jumped into the pit. The situation was difficult but he did not get scared, he kept giving courage to the elderly also. He was also getting stuck in the swamp, but with the help of people came out with the help of rope. He felt very happy saving the life of the elderly.

The elderly had come from Tajganj

When the police talked to the elderly, he named his name as Brijesh’s son Kunwarpal Singh, resident of Mohalla Watchtower, Thana Tajganj. Being trapped in the swamp, the condition had worsened. He was unable to speak anything. Sent to CHC Etmadpur by ambulance. From there the district hospital was sent to Agra.

Villagers told that the pit near the railway station is about 50 meters wide and 500 meters in length. With this the depth is up to 10 feet. It collects water from people’s homes. It did not stop even after the notice of the Railways. If there is no barricading near the pit, there is a possibility of accident.
