New equations seem to be forming in the political drama going on in Maharashtra for the last one week. Now it is reported that the rebel Eknath Shinde faction of Shiv Sena is exploring new options for politics. The Shinde faction, which does politics in the name of Shiv Sena, does not want to give up both the Thackeray name and Hindutva. In such a situation, 38 MLAs of Eknath Shinde faction can join Raj Thackeray’s party MNS.
According to media reports, Eknath Shinde has also spoken to Raj Thackeray twice over the phone on this issue. Even though it is being said that Shinde had called Raj Thackeray to know his health, but the real reason for this is being told that Shinde faction wants to create new equations of politics in the state by joining MNS.
Everything was decided in a secret meeting?
According to the reports, the merger of Shinde faction with MNS was decided two days ago in a secret meeting of Eknath Shinde with Devendra Fadnavis. Sources say that the country’s Home Minister Amit Shah also attended this meeting. This is where the new strategy was discussed. However, the BJP is still skeptical about the merger of the Shinde faction with the MNS. The reason for this is the attitude of Raj Thackeray.
Why merger is needed?
According to reports, even though Eknath Shinde has the support of 38 rebel Shiv Sena MLAs, it is not easy to get recognition as a new party. In such a situation, the Shinde faction wants to resolve this issue before the presidential election. Therefore, it is easiest for him to merge with Raj Thackeray’s party MNS. In such a situation, Thackeray’s name will also be left with him and the agenda of Hindutva will also be saved.
