ICT (Computer) labs will be set up in 218 government schools of class IX to XII in Himachal Pradesh. Tablets will be given to 1360 Divyang children. Pre-primary classes will be started in 741 more schools of the state. Teaching-learning material will be prepared to teach 2.75 lakh children of classes 1st to 5th. In the meeting of the Project Approval Board, the Central Government has approved a budget of Rs 943 crore, approving various proposals placed by the officials of the state. This budget will be spent through the State Project Office of the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan.

Under the Nipun Bharat Mission, by the year 2026-27, a target has been set to provide every child with the ability to learn reading, writing and numeracy by the end of third grade. The responsibility of developing the Teacher Training Module will be entrusted to SCERT Solan. Learning material will be provided for classes 1 to 5. Children’s knowledge, skills, attitude, ability and confidence will be enhanced under this. 2.75 lakh students have been included in this mission in the state. Project Approval Board has approved ICT labs for 218 schools to promote computer education. Apart from this, pre-vocational education will be provided in 50 more government schools from class VI to VIII. Video conferencing facility will be provided at BRC level.

Data bank will be made of students, drawbacks and features will be recorded
Under the Vidya Samiksha Kendra scheme, a data bank will be prepared on a portal for all the students studying in government schools from class I to XII. In this, the shortcomings and characteristics of the students will be mentioned. This will make it easier for a new teacher to know about the students when a teacher is transferred.

Budget increased by 157 crores compared to last year
The budget approved for the year 2022-23 in the meeting of the Project Approval Board is Rs 157 crore more than the previous year. For the year 2021-22, the central government had approved a budget of Rs 786 crore.
