Another Petition Filed In The Supreme Court Demanding To Withdraw The Comment Made On Nupur Sharma From The Supreme Court

Meanwhile, social activist Ajay Gautam has also filed a petition in the Supreme Court, in which he has demanded the court to withdraw the remarks made for Nupur Sharma during the hearing.

Suspended leader Nupur Sharma had filed a petition in the Supreme Court demanding that cases are registered against her in different parts of the country. His life is in danger, so his case should be transferred to Delhi. But the Supreme Court expressed displeasure and said that it had to be filed in the High Court first.

Nupur Sharma should get fair trial- Petitioner
Now the petition filed by social activist Ajay Gautam has demanded that the observations made during the hearing in the Nupur Sharma case should be withdrawn by the Supreme Court. Behind this, it has been argued in the petition that this threatens the life of Nupur Sharma. They should get a chance for fair trial.

Nupur Sharma was reprimanded by the court
The Supreme Court had reprimanded Sharma, saying that the atmosphere was spoiled due to his own statements. Nupur Sharma delayed apologizing and it is because of her that unfortunate incidents have happened.

The court allowed Nupur Sharma to withdraw the petition. Simultaneously, Sharma withdrew his application from the court.

Nupur’s remarks were followed by international reactions and mass protests across the country. Later, FIRs were registered against him at various places including Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata.
