A case of burning a 25-year-old girl just 100 meters away from the police booth has come to light in Kavinagar industrial area of Ghaziabad at around 10.30 pm on Wednesday night. His body was found near the statue of Syama Prasad Mookerjee. It was in 100% scorched condition. When the police reached the hospital, the doctor told him dead. Efforts to identify the girl have not been successful. The photo of the girl’s body has been sent to the police stations of Ghaziabad, Hapur, Meerut and Delhi. Police matched the photo of the dead body with the photos of 20 missing women, but found none. The police have seen more than 40 footages of cameras installed in Kavinagar industrial area but have not got any clue of those who took the girl here and burnt it.
The girl’s body was burnt after the murder

It became clear from the report of the field unit that the girl was burnt at the same place where her body was found in 100% scorched condition. This place is just 100 meters away from the police booth, near Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Park.

No other sign of ornaments etc. was also found. The post-mortem was done by a panel of doctors. It has been videographed. Samples have been taken for DNA testing.
Briefcase hook found at the scene
An iron hook was found at the spot. It is used in briefcases. SP City Nipun Aggarwal says that on the basis of this there is also a apprehension that the body was brought in a briefcase.
