Thunderstorm and rain expected in UP too
In UP, there is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms in the eastern and western parts including the capital Lucknow. According to Skymet Weather, monsoon has knocked in Bihar, Uttarakhand, UP. Soon Rajasthan, Haryana and Punjab will also arrive. There will be relief from heat and temperature. Districts like Gorakhpur, Bijnor, Lakhimpur, Varanasi, Hardoi have recorded heavy rainfall. There is a possibility of heavy rain for the next two-three days. Monsoon has knocked in most of the districts of western UP on Thursday. Meerut, Bulandshahr, Bijnor, Shamli and Saharanpur, Meerut received rainfall. Lucknow Meteorological Department director JP Gupta told that the monsoon is active. Similar weather will prevail for the next two-three days. There will be less and more rain in all the districts including East Uttar Pradesh.

Heavy rain alert in eight cities of Bihar
In Bihar, it rained in many cities including the capital Patna. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of thunderstorms and heavy rain in East and West Champaran, Sheohar, Sitamarhi, Gopalganj, Madhubani, Supaul, Araria and Kishanganj.

By July 6, there will be rain in the whole country
According to the Meteorological Department, by July 6, the monsoon will cover the entire country. Conditions are favorable for further advance of Monsoon into remaining parts of Rajasthan, entire Punjab and Haryana in next 24 hours.
