Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan, who got a clean chit from the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in last year’s cruise drugs case, on Thursday filed a petition before a special NDPS court, seeking the return of his passport.
The court directed the NCB to file a reply and fixed July 13 for hearing the matter. Aryan Khan was arrested by the NCB in early October last year in the high-profile drugs case, but the probe agency did not name him as an accused in the chargesheet filed in May.

NCB had released Aryan Khan and five others due to “lack of sufficient evidence”. Aryan Khan had submitted his passport in the court under the conditions of bail. On Thursday, he through his lawyers filed a petition in the special court, seeking the return of the passport citing the charge sheet in which his Name is not.
Aryan, 24, was arrested by the NCB on October 3 last year after a raid on a Goa-bound cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. Aryan Khan spent more than 20 days in jail before being granted bail by the Mumbai High Court.
