When Ekta Kapoor Asked For Rohit Shetty Film Ek Villain Returns Project As A Gift On Rakshabandhan – Ek Villain Returns Trailer

Eight years ago, a film made in just Rs 35 crores exploded at the box office, earning more than 150 crores at the box office. The name of the movie is ‘Ek Villain’. Its stars were Siddharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh and Shraddha Kapoor. Director Mohit Suri, who came out of the Bhatt camp, made his coin with this film. Then came its sequel, it is said that Mohit Suri had a rift with the producer of the film Ekta Kapoor regarding the stars of the film. Mohit went to Rohit Shetty with the sequel, but Ekta Kapoor is a strong businesswoman. He went around in such a way that the film came to him after turning around. How this happened was revealed by Ekta Kapoor herself at the trailer launch of the film ‘Ek Villain Returns’ on Thursday.

It happened that when Mohit Suri narrated the subject of ‘Ek Villain Returns’ to Rohit Shetty, Rohit Shetty immediately agreed to make this film. The ‘spies’ left by Ekta Kapoor told him this and he asked Rohit for this film as a gift of Raksha Bandhan. Ekta Kapoor says, ‘Rohit Shetty is my Rakhi brother, so he did not refuse and gave this project to me as a sister.’ Ek Villain Returns stars John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria in pivotal roles.

Ekta Kapoor has shown a lot of deteriorating relationships on the small screen. Now she is going to make a new definition of villain. She says, ‘In films, we have shown a lot of the broken heart of the hero. Now it is the turn to show the broken heart of the villain. There is a heart inside a villain too and when his heart breaks, to what extent can he go. He will be seen in this film. Till now I have shown the broken and deteriorating relationships in the serials, now it is the turn to show the broken heart of the villain on the big screen.

Ekta Kapoor says, ‘There is a villain inside every human being. When given a chance, the villain inside him comes out. There can be many reasons for this, so I suggest that like Valentine’s Day, Valentine’s Day should also be celebrated. Now it will be interesting to see who is the real villain in ‘Ek Villain Returns’, Arjun Kapoor or John Abraham? By the way, this dialogue of Arjun Kapoor is definitely heard in the trailer when he tells John Abraham that if you are the hero of this story, then I am the villain. But due to only so many scenes in the trailer, it cannot be guessed who is the real villain.

The trailer of the film ‘Ek Villain Returns’ starts with ‘Ek Villain’ hero Riteish Deshmukh. It is said that the story of Villain started eight years ago. People thought that this story was over. But, it is not that the villain is back. He targets girls who are in unrequited love. This villain has come to become the messiah of broken hearts. The film is going to release in theaters on July 29.
