After the rape of a 12-year-old girl on Tuesday in a village of Ramapur Chowki area of Sadar Kotwali of Lakhimpur Kheri, only the role of the elder sister of the deceased has come to the fore. The younger sister was overwhelmed to see the elder sister having illicit relations with the lover and his other friends. Out of fear that the younger sister should not tell this to the family members, the elder sister got her friends gang-raped and then murdered. The police have arrested six people including the accused elder sister in this case. While disclosing the matter in Police Lines on Wednesday, SP Sanjeev Suman said that on Tuesday, the girl’s body was found lying in a sugarcane field in a village in Ramapur Chowki area. The Kotwali Sadar police started the investigation by registering a case on the complaint of the father of the deceased. Five police teams led by CO Sadar Sandeep Singh were investigating the matter.
The SP said that during the investigation it was found that the elder sister of the deceased had illicit relations with the accused Ranjit Chauhan, Amar Singh, Ankit, Sandeep of the village itself. When the deceased came to know about this a month ago, she used to refuse her elder sister to meet the accused.
She also used to abuse the accused when they walked around the house of the deceased and came out from there. There was a fight between the deceased and his sister over this matter. The family members also used to stop him from coming out of the house. Angered by this, the elder sister conspiratorially invited the younger sister to the field and first got her friends gang-raped and later got her murdered.

Disclosing the incident, the police said that on Tuesday, in a pre-planned manner, the elder sister took her younger sister to the sugarcane field at around ten in the morning on the pretext of defecation, where the elder sister’s friends Ranjeet, Amar Singh alias Amru, Ankit , Sandeep, Deepu, Arjun were present. During the gang rape, the elder sister herself held both the hands of the younger sister. The deceased did not tell about the incident at home, so the accused strangled the deceased tightly with a dupatta and tried to blow her eyes.
After the incident, the accused were driven away from the spot by the elder sister and she also went to her house. When her mother was searching, it was the elder sister who told her that she had seen the younger sister going to the sugarcane field for defecation. Then the mother of the deceased reached the spot and found the deceased lying in the sugarcane field. The SP said that along with elder sister involved in the incident, Ranjeet Chauhan resident of Jhaupurwa Khamberkheda, Amar Singh alias Amru, Ankit, Sandeep Chauhan, Deepu Chauhan, Arjun have been arrested and sent a challan. Clothes, water bottle, hair of the deceased and the accused have been recovered from the spot.
