An Israeli woman has been rescued by the army from the high mountain village of Hungkar in the Zanskar Valley of Ladakh. Due to lack of oxygen, it became difficult for this foreign woman named Nina Kuperman. A helicopter was sent from Leh’s Air Force Station as soon as it was reported.

Despite strong winds and inclement weather, the helicopter took the Israeli woman to Leh Hospital safely. According to a defense spokesman, the situation in Israel is now out of danger.
