Chhatarpur: Five Year Old Child Fell In Open Bore, Trapped At 40 Feet, Giving Oxygen Through Pipe



A five-year-old boy fell in an open bore in Narayanpura of Chhatarpur district. Villagers and police-administration officials reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported. Efforts are on to retrieve the child. He is being given oxygen through a pipe. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has also taken cognizance of this and is continuously taking information on the rescue operation. The Chief Minister himself spoke to the child’s mother and consoled her.

SDERF teams, Police, Home Guard doctors are on the spot for the rescue operation. Oxygen cylinders and emergency lights have been arranged. The child is still alive. A picture of him has also surfaced. Teams from Sagar, Jabalpur, Gwalior have reached Chhatarpur. NDRF team of 27 people has been sent from Lucknow.

This incident is between Narayanpura and Pathapur of Orchha Road police station area. Narayanpur resident Akhilesh Yadav’s 5-year-old son Deependra Yadav fell in an open bore while playing on the field. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has taken cognizance of the incident. Instructions have been given that proper arrangements should be made for the early removal of the child. The rescue team of the district administration has reached the spot. The CM has also directed the SDRF team to reach the spot and start the work of evacuating the child. The Chief Minister is constantly taking information about the rescue operation.
