Bollywood Movie On History: Ashutosh Gowariker’s name is taken among the very genius film directors of the film industry. He has tried to bring history to the film screen many times through his films. The subject of most of his films is historical. Like Lagaan, Panipat, Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se (Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey), Mohenjo Daro. Ashutosh’s film Jodha Akbar was also based on historical background. Hrithik Roshan played the character of Akbar in the film. In this, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Ila Arun played important roles.
The story of the film is of Emperor Akbar (Hrithik Roshan) who wants to establish his roots in India. Meanwhile, in Amber, Raja Veer Bharmal (Kulbhushan Kharbanda) does not give his share to Sujamal (Sonu Sood). Suzamal goes to Sharifuddin (Niketan Dhir) for help. To avoid him, Raja Veer Bharmal befriends Akbar and to strengthen him, Akbar asks Akbar to marry Princess Jodha (Aishwarya Rai). In the midst of all this, the love of both of them prevails.
The film depicts Mughal and Rajput pride in a beautiful way. Akbar’s justice is also shown in the film. The scenes of the film appear to be reminiscent of that era. The film was well liked. Music by AR Rahman and lyrics penned by Javed Akhtar brought life to the film. The war scenes in the film were also shot brilliantly. Great sets were used to make the film better. In the film, the love of the Mughal emperor with his subjects and army was also shown. When Akbar himself is seen fighting with Sharifuddin. The film won many awards in its name. Made in a budget of 33 crores, the film earned a whopping 120 crores at the box office.
