Expansion
Amidst the ongoing political tussle in Maharashtra, Aaditya Thackeray, son of Shiv Sena President and Chief Minister Thackeray, targeted Eknath Shinde fiercely. At a meeting of party workers in Mumbai on Sunday, Aaditya Thackeray said that Eknath Shinde and other MLAs have stabbed him in the back by taking advantage of CM Saheb’s illness.
asked a month ago
During this he claimed that ‘On May 20, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had called Eknath Shinde to ‘Varsha’ (CM’s official residence) and asked if he wanted to become the Chief Minister. However, he then deferred the issue. But a month later, on June 20, they rebelled. He further said that ‘in a way it is good that the mess of Shiv Sena itself has been cleared.’
MLAs are traitors
Aaditya Thackeray said that the MLAs camping in a hotel in Guwahati are traitors and will not be taken back to Shiv Sena. During this, he also alleged that MLAs were given Rs. He said that Rs 50 crore has been given to the MLAs, but Shiv Sena is not afraid of it. The party will fight and come back. Aaditya Thackeray, MLA from Worli, warned that the way to the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly passes through Worli. It is worth mentioning that Worli is considered to be the fort of Shiv Sena.
Sanjay Raut claimed
Meanwhile, in his weekly column ‘Rokhthok’ published in Shiv Sena mouthpiece ‘Saamana’ on Sunday, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut said that Eknath Shinde had a good chance of becoming the chief minister of the state if he had remained in the Shiv Sena. He said Shinde would have been the chief minister had the BJP not gone back on its word of turn to the post of chief minister. It is surprising that now Shinde wants to join BJP.
Sanjay Raut has claimed that if BJP had accepted Shiv Sena’s proposal to share the CM post on rotation basis, Uddhav Thackeray had Eknath Shinde in mind as Shiv Sena’s choice for the post.
Significantly, senior Shiv Sena minister and prominent leader of Thane district Eknath Shinde had revolted against the party last week. After which most of the MLAs of Shiv Sena have taken his side. All the rebel MLAs are currently camping in Guwahati.
