This is how the controversy started?

The controversy started over the remarks made by Nupur during a TV debate on the Gyanvapi Masjid case in Varanasi. During the debate on May 27, Nupur, as a spokesperson of the BJP, alleged that some people were constantly making fun of Hindu faith. If this is the case then she can also make fun of other religions. During this, Nupur commented on Mohammad Sahab by referring to the Quran. On which the dispute started.

After Nupur’s video went viral, on June 5, BJP suspended Nupur Sharma from primary membership, removing her from all party posts. FIRs have been registered against Nupur at different places. At the same time, Delhi Police has also registered a case regarding the threats being received by Nupur. Delhi Police has also provided them security.
