These countries protested
Many Muslim countries of the world have expressed their opposition to Nupur’s alleged controversial remarks. About 15 countries are included in this list. These include Qatar, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Maldives, Oman, Jordan, Bahrain, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Apart from this, the All India Muslim Personal Law Board in India has issued a letter demanding legal action against Nupur.
However, all the countries have been answered by India. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs has clearly said that all religions are respected in the country. People of all religions live here and they have got religious freedom. Indian products were withdrawn from their stores in Kuwait.
Al Qaeda threatens terrorist attack
In a threat letter on June 6, the terrorist group Al-Qaeda has said that it will launch suicide attacks in Delhi, Mumbai, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat. Al Qaeda said, ‘We will kill those who insult our prophet.’
Summons to Nupur Sharma
Legal action has also started on Nupur Sharma, suspended from BJP. Mumbra police has summoned Nupur Sharma in the case. The police have asked Nupur Sharma to appear on June 22. Cases have been registered against Nupur in Mumbra, Thane and Pydhonie.
