Eknath Shinde, who is leading the rebel MLAs in the midst of the ongoing political turmoil in Maharashtra, has made a big announcement on Tuesday. He told reporters in Guwahati that he would soon return to Mumbai. During this, he rejected the claim of Shiv Sena and said that the party should name the 20 MLAs of his faction.
Significantly, on Tuesday, rebel leader Eknath Shinde was seen outside the luxury hotel in Guwahati. During this, rebel Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde said that Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray should reveal the names of the MLAs who are in touch with him. Shinde told reporters outside the hotel that he has the support of 50 MLAs. In fact, many times Shiv Sena leaders have been claiming that around 20 party MLAs staying with Shinde in Guwahati hotel are in touch with him and they want to return to Maharashtra.
Eknath Shinde said in front of the media, no MLA has been brought here forcibly. All the legislators are happy. If Shiv Sena says that the MLAs present here are their contacts, then they should reveal the names. He said that all the MLAs have come here to promote themselves and Hindutva. He said that there is no need to worry about the MLAs. All MLAs are fine, no one has come here for their own benefit.
He said, we are in Shiv Sena, will remain in Shiv Sena. We will take Balasaheb’s Hindutva forward. Apart from this, he said, our next step will be informed to you soon.
During this, rebel Shiv Sena leader Uday Samant has said that the reason for my coming to Guwahati is because of the conspiracies, due to which the Shiv Sena is weakening. He said that the NCP and Congress had hindered the election of Sambhaji Chhatrapati in the recent Rajya Sabha elections. Samant said that he is with the rebel leaders because Shinde is promoting Balasaheb’s ideology of Hindutva. I am still in Shiv Sena and don’t mistake me for common Shiv Sainik. He said that there was no need for any misunderstanding. Everyone has come here voluntarily with Shinde Saheb.
Meanwhile, speculations are also rife about Eknath Shinde’s departure for Delhi. He is likely to meet Amit Shah and Devendra Fadnavis in Delhi. Let us tell you, Devendra Fadnavis has also left for Delhi. However, he also said that he will go to Mumbai at the earliest.
